Happy Birthday Mom!

Mom - I hope that this is one of your best birthdays to date!

I must share our conversation held between me and the BIG Sister!

Yolanda - "Alana, can I get you to hop on the bench for me?"

Alana - "yeah", followed with "cheese!"

(side note: now keep in mind, I did not ask for "cheese", she just gave that to me!)

Yolanda - "Good girl!"

Alana " Let me see!" She jumps off the bench, looks at her picture on the back of my camera, then replies: "awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" 

Needless to say, I was done!  Allow me to introduce to you...MS. Alana!

Hey good people!

I'm still here! I'm patiently awaiting the arrival of some babies! In fact, one was born today! So, you can expect to see some images of her soon enough.

As you all know the weather is turning, wedding season is in full swing and outdoor lifestyle sessions are in full demand! I do encourage you to book your spring | summer session now, to ensure availablity. In fact, I HIGHLY encourage it! My repeat clients will tell you that you are so important to me, that I book a limited number of sessions, to ensure that my time is well spent with YOU and your loved ones. So, again, book your sessions now! 

In fact, any sessions booked between now and 04-05-09 by midnight EST, will receive a $25.00 discount off of the $125.00 non refundable session. That's right, book your session today for $100.00. Sessions to be held between 04-11-09 and 07-01-09.

Y&R Photography will be closed on the following dates. We will have limited acces to email during those times and will return all calls, when we return to the office:

04-24-09 through 04-27-09

05-01-09 through 05-03-09

08-23-09 through 08-31-09

Graduate | Children's Photographer | Charlotte, NC

It's official! My first "grow with me" graduate! Let me tell ya, she made me WORK for that last session too! I've been photographing this little one since she was 10 days old! I truly can't believe that I was tasked with capturing those fleeting moments for ONE year! I think that I may shed a tear!  Seriously, you may think that I'm kidding, but I'm not! I may just cry!

All jokes to the side, the GROW WITH ME plan is truly a one of a kind plan. I simply record those fleeting moments with 3 sessions, over the course of one year. Give me a call and we can definitely talk about it!

Now, onto the good stuff... my graduate!

I've got to step back for a moment and talk about her older sister. Can you say BE - YOU -T-FUL! OMG! I'm telling you, my camera smiled every time I pointed it in her direction!

 

Yep, my graduate is truly a fun loving 1 year old! I love this family portrait, although, she is all covered up, this truly reflects her on her day!  Doesn't this picture scream... GAP AD! I LOVE IT!

Ok - So, we've experienced just a little, just a little blog neglect. Just know that I LOVE each and everyone of you and I appreciate you checking in on me. I'm fine, I've just been busy, but I'm never too busy for any of you! 

I'm hoping this blog post, will put me back in your good graces. After you see all of this CUTENESS, you'll have no choice but to forgive me, right!

I had a plan y'all. I knew exactly what I was going to do when I arrived to the session, I just knew it, WELL, Jalen had his own plan. He's only 9 days old and he's running things, gotta love it!

 

I could just eat him up!  I love this image so much, that I'm ordering it for myself!

Justin + Sharon | Engagement Session | Charlotte NC

Wow, wow, wow, wow, and one more WOW! This session was smoking hot! The couple is smoking HOT and the location, you've guessed it...HOT! 

Justin and Sharon, two of the classiest people that I've ever met in my life. They are young, hip, and tons of fun! I will have the pleasure of photographing their wedding day in September (Lucky me). Now, onto the fun stuff...
